ThromBash XRS

  • ThromBash XRS is a fully-automated in vitro coagulation analyzer which delivers high quality results and meets the increasing requirements of modern high-volume labs.
  • Positive Reagent and Sample identification: Reagent batch- and bottle specific ID guarantees safe and traceable reagent management with ThromBash reagents or third-party reagent. The sample handling with cap piercing technology for variable primary receptacles, in a patented sample rack transport system with positive sample identification, provides high user convenience.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Continuous loading and the high on-board capacity of samples, reagents and consumables ensure an uninterrupted workflow and a long walk-away-time. By using two independent samplers for plasma and reagents, combined with an 8-channel measuring system, the analyzer achieves a throughput of 320 tests/h.

  • Precision and Correctness: Normal or interference samples are monitored by the system photometer which automatically changes both light intensity and wavelength. This feature, combined with a rotating steel ball amplifies the measuring signal, secures precision and correctness of each result. Results out of specification are automatically repeated; possibly with a different dilution or reflex test.

ThromBash Timer 1 - 2 - 4

  • ThromBash Timer is a semi-automated opto-mechanical in vitro coagulation analyzer which delivers high quality results and meets the demands of standardization in labs.
  • Measuring system: The opto-mechanical measuring system is a combination of a light source which adjusts to the samples turbidity and a rotating steel ball. Different parameters lead to clot detection. The light signal decreases due to a strong clot. Clots are centered by the rotation of the ball and this amplifies the measuring signal. Due to the centering of weak clots, the remaining fibrinogen is rapidly removed and guarantees a strong signal.
  • Flexibility: After switching on the system automatically checks all important functions and is ready for use in a short time.
  • Standardized workflow: With a definable incubation time for the test, as well as acoustic and visible signal when finished, incubating sample and reagent is easy. The system starts the measurement automatically upon start-reagent addition by using a standard laboratory pipette.
