Urea (BUN), Creatinine and eGFR
More than 50% of patients admitted to intensive care develop acute kidney injury (AKI). Prime Plus is the blood gas analyzer that provides Urea (BUN), Creatinine, and eGFR options in whole blood for rapid bedside assessment of kidney function.
Ionized Magnesium (iMg⁺)
Disruptions in iMg⁺, Na, K, and iCa⁺ balance can lead to cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac arrest. Prime Plus is the only blood gas analyzer to offer a comprehensive electrolyte profile including iMg⁺.
Estimated Plasma Volume (ePV)
Prime Plus has the ePV reporting capability to assess the intravascular fluid content of the blood. Calculated using the Strauss equation, ePV and ΔPV (plasma volume change) are used to guide fluid therapy in cases like shock, sepsis, and heart failure.

CO-Oximetry Technology
Prime Plus automatically measures Hemoglobin and its fractions (O2Hb, COHb, MetHb, HHb, HbF, tBil) using a patented optical system that does not require hemolysis. This ensures rapid diagnosis in cases of hypoxia and carbon monoxide poisoning.
